Resistors
Time to solder on the resistors. You are going to solder 7 resistors onto the wires that go to each of the bars in the display. The 8th wire is your ground no resistor is needed on that wire. I used resistors with a value of 260 Ohms to get the right brightness. You MUST use resistors, if you don't you will burn out your display and all this work will be useless. On the other end of the resistors I soldered 18 gauge wires to run to my plug that go to the output side of the IC Box. Don't forget to slide shrink tubing on before you put the plug on. After everything is soldered up heat the shrink tube over your resistors and the soldered connections to insulate everything. Wrap it all in tape and you are done.

Power
To power the indicator I tracked down an unused 12 volt power lead in the yellow wiring harness behind the right side faring, it is pictures on the left. I then used an awl to get the lead out in picture #2. Picture #3 is the lead circled in red. It's an orange wire. I used the ground wire on the 3rd eye. I thought about just using the 12 volt positive wire on the third eye, but I'm already using that for my indiglo gauge faces and I didn't want to draw any more power off of it.
